Thank you so much for all these excellent photos seen by your link. I'm specially interested in the last ones of Granary Island, taken in March 2015.

Diese letzten Fotos von Patrick geben einen Eindruck von der inzwischen freigeräumten Speicherinsel nördlich der Milchkannengasse (Nordspitze mit dem wohl erhalten bleibenden riesigen Backsteinspeicher mit den beiden Türmen).
Auf dem ersten Speicherinsel-Foto, das links diesen großen Backsteinspeicher zeigt, sieht man rechts davon im Hintergrund (vor den Häusern auf der Südseite der Milchkannengasse) ein einzeln stehendes größeres Gebäude: Dies ist das neue Puro Hotel mit der roten fensterlosen Außenmauer auf seiner Westseite (auf dem Foto rechte Hotel-Seite); siehe dazu den Thread "Neues Hotel in der Milchkannengasse" > http://www.forum.danzig.de/showthrea...ght=Puro+Hotel .

Guten Morgen,

With little of time and with struggle with software I finally processed the rest of photos of Granary Island I have taken 2 weeks ago. Photos are in the album https://picasaweb.google.com/1039533...721/Gdansk2015

During the processing I updated a small part of my complex Linux system. Then every little piece of software started to make trouble. I am personally against for updates of serious computing systems. Especially automatic updates are evil of all kinds.

Have nice time watching the pictures. Each one is geo-tagged so have a look on map as well.

Wonderful again your new photos of the northern Granary Island! Thank you for all your efforts and your trouble with them. - Is it true that there is a riverside way now completely round this part of the island?

You should contact interested media with your photo documentation.

Thanks.

Yes it is. You can now walk around the Island which is brilliant idea. However like everything in Poland it is not completed to the last detail. For example on one end you can walk in with wheelchair/pram/pushchair and on the other end are stairs with no support for pushchair. This place is now very attractive to parents.

I have added 5 more pics of the Island. Four taken today from St. Mary's Church tower. Also I am going to take the last two photos for now. To have complete view of the Island.

Very valuable impressions I think for most of us, Patrick. Far away from Gdansk it is always interesting to see the developments there, esp. now the Granary Island, I assume here seen from the Tower of the old town hall.
