Ich lebe nicht in Danzig, schon gar nicht in einem Gestrigen. Mich interessiert hier auch das Gdansk von morgen :-D

Hallo,

wer es noch nicht gemerkt hat: In den Fotos steckt harte Arbeit drin!

Alleine die "Auftragsarbeit" NBP-Bank ist aus 53 Einzelbildern zusammengesetzt. Das Foto hat auch keine "stürzenden" Linien.

Ich habe schon einmal gespickt, wir können noch sehr viele interessante Aufnahmen erwarten...

... und da Patrick in Danzig wohnt, kann er immer das schönste Fotowetter abwarten!

Nun Mariano, zum einen lief der Thread bereits, viele haben sich an den Fotos erfreut und zum anderen möchten wir keine Diskussionen "ankurbeln", wenn dafür andere Forumsmitglieder gekränkt werden. Das ist es nicht wert und den Preis zahlen wir nicht.

Also bitte, wenn du schon abfällige und verletzende Beiträge schreibst, bzw. geschrieben hast, denn ich hoffe zukünftig auf mehr Toleranz, dann tu wenigstens nicht hinterher so, als wäre es eine gute Tat gewesen.

dein Hobby ist die Geschichte Danzigs und Umgebung. Niemand kritisiert das.

Die Fotos von Patrick sind aus der neueren Geschichte Danzigs und sind fachlich

sehr hoch einzuschätzen.

Das liegt sicherlich nicht nur an der tollen Ausrüstung die unser neues Mitglied hat.

Zu einem guten Foto gehört auch ein gutes Auge fürs Detail.

Ich glaube auch, das Patrick auch eine Entschuldigung deinerseits akzeptiert.

Hello mariano. Nice to meet you. I hope our relations are going to be better. No one benefits from fights between our nations as history shows. I like your country very much. I have been living in Paderborn, Nordrhein - Westfalen 5 - 6 times for a period of month each time. I have been riding a bicycle around. Visited Bielefeld, Schloss Neuhaus, Bad Driburg, Lipstadt, and more. Cycled through countrysides. Also have been to Düsseldorf and Köln. Have taken thousands photos. Germany is beautiful country and I like people there too.

Hallo Patrick,
es ist schön, den Weg von Orunia Richtung Danzig Innenstadt auf Deinen Fotos wiederzusehen. Sind dort die Bauarbeiten an der Radaune abgeschlossen? Vor zwei Jahren musste noch einiges getan werden. Ich bin den Weg zweimal bei herrlichem Wetter mit meiner Schwester gegangen. Und ich finde die Fotos von Langfuhr sehr schön und interessant, weil man hier im Forum viel über Langfuhr liest und ich bisher davon nichts kannte. Und noch so schöne alte Häuser. Auf diese Weise lernen wir von Dir ein Danzig kennen, was den meisten doch vorenthalten bleibt. So viel Zeit ist bei einem Besuch ja meistens nicht. Weiter so :-).

noch einen Zusatz. Mein Foto hier zeigt meine Oma (oder meine Tante) in Ohra um 1920 (?). Den See gibt es leider nicht mehr. Wie ich erfahren konnte, wurde er zugeschüttet.

There will be more photo of Orunia. Especially in Spring when everything is most beautiful. Yes the Radunia Canal is completed and looks nice. I like to walk along Radunia as well. More often I ride bicycle there.

I studied a map printed in 1918 to find a lake you have told here. Only lakes I found was in Hoene Park. One is very small, not suitable for sailing. Second are bigger and good for sailing by boat. These two lakes are today in Park Orunski. I guess your grandma was on the larger lake.

My visit to ul. Saperow was unexpected. I have been thinking about your house at the moment of taking pictures but I didn't check exact address before. I decided to photograph side of the street lit by the sun in hope that I hit your house. Don't worry. Next time when I visit my parents in good weather I prepare myself and take picture of the house.
